This is the book I was talking about earlier! It was published in ‘95, and I think my parents must’ve bought it for me sometime around my 8-10th birthdays. Most of the stuff in here wasn’t really appropriate for that age, but I didn’t even care. I devoured this book and am really, really…

Done by Steve Garcia and uploaded to Instagram

Is Steve Garcia famous? If not, he should be! These are really nice pictures.

Batman is the only one who doesn’t have a word to go with him. I think Steve mostly got it right. I mean, Dick could also be “loyalty” or “optimism” or “leadership” or any number of other awesome adjectives. But “trust” totally works.

I think Steve nailed it with Donna Troy: love. And according to his Instagram post, he doesn’t even know much about Donna!

Tim is “persistence.”

Damian is “bold.”

Starfire is “vivacious.” (definitely!)

Wally is “tradition.”

Anthony Misiano ( Harley’s Joker ) Batman Chronicles fan-series trailer { x }

“In my dream, the world had suffered a terrible disaster. A black haze shut out the sun, and the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people. Suddenly, a small light glowed. A candle flickered into life, a symbol of hope for millions. A single tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark. I laughed, and blew it out.”

Prototype Real / Digital Info Interface System

Using projection and gestures to create interactive relationship with information - video embedded below:

Fujitsu Laboratories has developed a next generation user interface which can accurately detect the users finger and what it is touching, creating an interactive touchscreen-like system, using objects in the real word.

“We think paper and many other objects could be manipulated by touching them, as with a touchscreen. This system doesn’t use any special hardware; it consists of just a device like an ordinary webcam, plus a commercial projector. Its capabilities are achieved by image processing technology.”

Using this technology, information can be imported from a document as data, by selecting the necessary parts with your finger.

Limited edition Doctor Who Regeneration DVD set to be released in June

Regeneration: a limited edition collectors’ book, including over 1000 minutes of Doctor Who adventures on DVD will be released in June, doctorwho.tv can exclusively reveal.

The Doctor Who Regeneration set is an individually numbered, beautifully packaged, coffee table album including six DVDs of Doctor Who adventures – including fan favourites like The Caves of Androzani and The End of Time, plus an advance release of the First Doctor’s final adventure The Tenth Planet.

The set is adorned with superb photography from across the era and features detailed and informative accounts of each regeneration. The collection features each Doctor’s iconic regeneration episode; from the First Doctor played by William Hartnell, exhausted after battling the Cybermen to Jon Pertwee’s Third Doctor suffering from radiation that had been unleashed by the Great One; and from the spectacular transformation of the Ninth Doctor to David Tennant’s emotional farewell as the Tenth.

And if that wasn’t enough, new to DVD is The Tenth Planet featuring the Doctor’s first regeneration – beautifully restored with the missing fourth episode now brought to life with stunning animation. Utilising the original soundtrack, off-screen photographs and a short surviving sequence of the Doctor’s regeneration the episode has been now reconstructed in animated form, incorporating the restored version of the surviving sequence.
